About Warren
Warren and his wife Kitty live and work from their spacious home and studios in the heart of Austin, Texas. Warren is a professional artist for more years than he can count. After college he worked as a commercial artist then as an advertising manager, went back to earn his MFA from the Instituo de Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico and began an eight year teaching experience at the University level. His watercolors began selling after meeting his mentor Bud Biggs. Bud encouraged Warren to paint full time. Warren resigned his teaching position despite the forebodings of family and friends and the echo of “You can’t make a living as an artist” rang on deaf ears. Now 40 years later he is still creating art and enjoying his chosen career more than most.
Kitty and Warren exchanged wedding vows in the landscaped garden between their home and studios on Valentine’s Day in 1999. Kitty has her own CPA practice for 25 years. She affectionately refers to her space as her “tree top office” on the second floor. In 2004 after several years she purchased a Cruise Planners franchise and is passionate about cruising. The couple have traveled the world and are now past their 60th cruise in 15 years. If you would like to connect with Kitty concerning her CPA work or consult with her about a cruise ship vacation you may send her an email by clicking This email address is being protected from spambots.
