Installation & Maintenance

SIMPLE MAINTENANCE

Use the following three step process to wax outdoor sculptures three to five times a year and indoor sculptures about once a year.

INSTALLATION

A majority of Warren's sculpture work will be installed in the following manner - scroll down to view the photos and descriptions.

Step 1: First, prepare a concrete pad that is five inches deep.

Step 2: The bottom of the sculpture's base will come with welded half-inch nuts that will be for "all thread" rods. The rods are to be screwed directly into these nuts.

Step 3: Once he all thread rods are screwed into the nuts on the sculpture's base, place a cardboard pattern, cut to match the outline of the base, over the all thread rods. Then, place the pattern on the concrete pad so that the drill holes can be marked.

Step 4: Use a masonry bit to drill the holes into the concrete pad. The holes should be larger than a half-inch in diameter.

Step 5: Once the holes are drilled and cleaned out, the sculpture should be positioned for placement.

Step 6: The drill holes should then be filled with a cement epoxy (there are many brands to choose from).

Step 7: Finally, place the all thread rods into the holes in the concrete pad and your job is complete.
